For my first card I used the smaller stamp "Sun and Moon" set. I love how MFP combine these to images together. And its such a beautiful and fun whimsical set. So my first thought was to water color my images. I later found this water color paper I created but didn't use and thought how perfect it would be. I add a mat in black around the image and sentiment so they would stand out. I love that sentiment and will either stamp graduation or birthday theme in the inside.

For my next two card I used papers by Graphic 45. The first card I really wanted to use a lot of the scraps that was left over in this pack and thought it would be perfect to help bring out all the colors in my sun. And boy was I right (not to toot my own horn lol) I love how well the colors worked together.

Up next I really wanted to feature this cream and black pattern papers so I used it over the base of my card. I cut strips of the star paper and used the back side to which has nursery rhymes on it. I add some lace for a more elegant look and gems to set the lace off. Over all I love the look and can't say which is my fav.

We truly thank you all for hopping along with us this week. We hope you found lots of inspiration and want to create with these sets!!!

Hello Crafty Friends Welcome Back to day Three of MFP July Stamp Release. Today were featuring a fun snowflake stamp set. I love the elegant look of the snowflakes in this set. For my first card I keep things simple by heat embossing the large snowflake in a enchanted gold embossing powered and add gems. I love love this color of embossing powder and was so happy Pinque Peacock order it for me.

For my next card I started by heat embossing the smaller snowflakes and then going back in with a blue sharpie. I created a banner and used some cord to create a bow. I really love the way this one turned out.

For my last card I really wanted to use this oh so cute embossing folder. And I thought how perfect would this be with MFP "I Love Snow" sentiment in this stamp set. I add some blue gems and did more heat embossing in sliver. I thought the colors worked so well together. Over all another fun stamp set by MFP.

Watered Colored Stamped Image

Hello Crafty Friends

I hope your day is going great. I had to have a wisdom tooth pulled yesterday so I've been on some heavy medicine and been a bit sleepy. I finally got YouTube to upload my video. It took most of the day and I really wanted to share it with you all. This video is all about taking your stamps and using them to create a water colored look. I learned this from the amazing "Sanketi" over at The Storyteller from Online Card Class  of how I created this card below by using a stamp set.  Well I hope you enjoy my video

Hello Everyone and Welcome to Day Two of Mark Finest Papers Blog Hop.
Today were featuring two favorites of mine. For my first card I'm using Coneflowers. I love that MFP artist did two stems. I had lots of fun water coloring my images with Tim Holtz distress inks. I used papers by Carta Bella and add a black border to each paper. I thought that the sentiment would be perfect going across the bottom stem and some black gems in random spots to complete it.

Up next I've created two cards using the Rose stamp set.  For this card I used Tim Holtz walnut stain ink to get a light outline of the flower. I first stamped the image on a scratch piece of paper and  then stamped on my water color paper. I did this so that I had fant lines. I then filled the in each line with distress inks in various colors. I really love that it has a water color look and how easy it is to achieve this look just with stamps. I later colored  the outside and add splatters of back dots.

For my final card.  I followed the same technique as I did above but later went back in to stamp the outlines of the image. I love that you can achieve two different looks using one stamp set. I use a doily die by Prima and papers by Carta Bella. I add the gems  to give my card that add pop.
