It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year
Good Morning Creative Friends,
I'm here this morning to share a non-traditional Christmas card. I started out by die cutting this quilting frame by My Favorite Things. This is blueprint number twenty. I have had this in my stash for quite some time and I really wanted to make a Christmas card with it. I cut this frame out in white cardstock and colored each square using distress inks shaded lilac, mowed lawn, tumbled glass, squeezed lemonade, spun sugar, and wild honey. I love these non-traditional colors. They make for a fun card. I used wink of Stella no the inside die cuts for added sparkle. I wanted to keep this a CAS card. I love CAS cards. I die cut the card base from the same die cut blueprint set. I cut it twice and scored the last one at less than a half inch from the top. I love using this technique to create shape cards. I later stamped the sentiment on this banner which is from this set and use foam adhesive to pop the banner up. The stamped sentiment is from Mama Elephant Alpine Carolers. Which by the way is another oldie that I have never used. I have a lot of fun things I have used and really wanted to start using.
I'm entering this into these challenges:
