Poppies

Hello & Welcome 

Today card I have a very simple card. I wanted my image to standout more than the different elements used. So to keep it simple I used to colors: DCWV" The Chateau Lavender Olive Green Paper and PTI: Pure Poppy. The stamped image is "Sheena Douglass" Paint Fusion: Poppies Set. I stamped on Gina K 80lb paper. You can get this beautiful stamp from Crafters Companion.  They are unmounted and need to be mounted with EZ mount by the way you can also get from CC store. Now this stamp is for painting but I don't have the right tools just yet and I so wanted to use it. So I went the simple stamping way and color them with Spectrum Noir. The stamp poppies comes as one stamped and I stamped it in random places. I colored the image with:  Spectrum Noir Colors: Red: CR10 & CR11 and Greens Used: DG3 & DG4. I add some stickles: diamond to each bud. I add a simple ribon from my stash to finished the card off. I love the placement of the image and the coloring taht I didnt want to cover it up. So not sentiment on the card. But I do have one I'm going to add to the inside. This would be good for any theme card. Dont you just love the poppy flower.
