Growing In Unity Day Three

Hello Crafty Peeps and Welcome to day three of Growing In Unity.

Today I wanted to share another card. Lately I've been trying my hands at water coloring and manly because I got the new seasonal distress markers. I just love Tim Holtz he's an amazing artist. I created this card below using Unity Stamp Co. Layers of Life Kit: fly unique april 2014. I started out by dry embossing my background with an embossing folder. I used my distress ink pads: picked raspberry and mowed lawn  to create a mixed colored background. I stamped my butterfly first using versafine ink. I find this ink gives me better coverage when working with water paper. I being to work on my background by stamp both distress colors on two separate stamp blocks so I could have more control over how much color I wanted. I just rub the paper on each block till I got the look I wanted.
I finished my card off with a little bling.

I hope you all have been enjoying your week with me.
I can't believe I only have two days left. Time is flying.
