Hello Crafty Friends and Welcome To MFP July Stamp Release!
Today we have a fun oriental stamp set for you. This stamp set is perfect for any Chinese occasion. If you want to have a Chinese new years party this set would be perfect for invites, if you just want to make a card with an add gift card to your friends favorite Chinese restaurant this set is perfect. I've thought of many things for this set. but today I really wanted to focus on the stamp rather the embellishment. I did my all time favorite type of cards: "Clean & Simple" which gives the stamp the main focus.
First up is these yummy fourtn cookies. Everyone love to eat these yummy treats which gives you words of wisdom. I stamped my image on white card stock and colored with my dark brown and tan maker. I used the dark sharpies only to highlight where I wanted my cookie to be darker then blend with my tan marker. I add some simple gems to bring the eye around the image. My little for sure said this was a fav of hers.
Up next keeping up with the same look but with a lager image an masking. I started out with white card stock stamping first the take out box and then masking just the top portion of the box and then stamping the chop sticks so that it looks like its behind the box. I colored them both in the same color a red and burnt orange sharpies. I add gems to complete my card.
