Unity Friends With Flair: Never Ending

Happy Friday My Crafty Friends!!

I'm so excited to share a fun Unity card using my December 2013 Layers of Life Kit: Never Ending Love. One of my goals this year is to use my LOL kits at least one time this year. So far I have you used two.  To see my first card using Nov 2013 Layers of Life Full Circle Moments go HERE

Today's card is going to my dad. Next month is my parents Anniversary. And last year I made him this card HERE. And I truly love giving my dad handmade cards for my mom. So love is being spread all around. They have been married for almost thirty-four years. So I thought I better get his card done right away. Today  I used Jenni Bowlin Inks: No.3 Chili Powder and No. 11 Brown Sugar. I truly love J. Bowlin inks and I'm said to say there hard to find. So I'll have to come up with something new before my ink pads go dry. Do you have any recommadations on wich inks you use and why you love them? I would love to know. I use the lagre heart in my LOL  kit stamping it in both inks to create a backround paper. I add metalllic stitching around each heart suing my Gelly Roll pin. I really love how the pen brings mor ecolor to my card. I also use "Never Ending" sentiment from this LOL kit.  I tought it was elegant and would defind the many years my parents have been toghether. I thought this as a banner would be prefect and I did some stitching, used some cord  to wrap around my tag with the two beautiful paper pieced hearts. I really love how the hearts have a mixed media look and if you look closer they remind me of landscaping of the world. So I thought it was perfect on this card.

I'm entering this into these challenges:
Word Art Wednesday: #114 Anything Go
Sweet Stamps Blog: Kraft Paper
Pumpkin Spice # Something 2014
Ann. Card for parents up-incoming 34 years of marriage. Number 4 in 2014

Gorgeous card, AJ!! Love the stitch lines around the hearts and the colours you used. I'm sure your parents will love it.
I love my Memento inkpads (great colours & great with Copic Markers) and Versafine and use them all the time.

Pretty card! Like Kary, I like Momento inks and use those a lot. I also like the Tim Holtz inks and I've not tried them, but I've heard good things about the Hero Arts inks from several people!

Wonderful card! I love the look of this stamp too! (I used it in a scrap book layout) The stitching you added really makes the hearts pop! The wrapped cord and hearts make a great accent! Love it!

How nice of you to make a card for your father to give your mother. And it's very pretty! I use Close To My Heart inks most the time -- they stamp very crisply, or Memento with my Copics.
