Hello Crafty Friends and Welcome To Our Final MFP May Hop!! Toady were featuring another beautiful flower stamp set. And just like yesterday I really wanted to capture this flower using some water coloring. Again using my Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pads on a clear block with my paint brush and a cup of water I was able to achieve this effect. I am taking a water color class and boy am I learning so much. Now I know I could use my pads on a clear block but the card below will show you a water color wash.  For this card I wanted the bottom of the flower to be darker and the middle lighter and the top even lighter. Now I must admit I'm not good with light source so I just did what I wanted and I'm happy I did. I love this card!

For my final card share I wanted to capture just the sentiment from this stamp set using a water color wash of different purples. Now I did follow a sketch by one of the water color teachers. How ever I wanted my string to look like a flower and the sentiment be the center and wow I can't believe that worked out LOL!! Anyway I stamped my sentiment on a punched 2" circle (I believe its 2") I can remember. I ink the circle with my Hero's Art ink. I splatter some black water color ink all over and painted the bigger black dots. I just really love this one too!!!
