Absolutely Charming
Good Morning Creative Friends,
I'm so excited to be back sharing a fun layout using a sketch found on (below) Let's Get Sketchy blog. They have four challenges thought out the month. Each layout sketch is posted on Monday. You can find more information HERE on their blog. I'm sharing my layout for August Week 1. I really love this sketch and thought I would give it a twist by creating a manly layout. I had so much fun with it. I've decided to use an old paper pack designed by Lori Whitlock for Echo Park Paper Co. This paper is by far a favorite of mines and its perfect for creating manly layouts. I've used This and That Charming collection pack. All the embellishment is from this pack. I distress the edges of the different elements and the papers with Distress Ink: Vintage Photo.
This layout is feature my oldest brother. I can't tell you how I'm just so proud of him. Hes going to be 33 this month. He's very successful at his job. He has now kids I tell him he's the lucky one. lol just kidding. Hes an amazing uncle. He treats my sibling and I kids like his own. And anyone who marries him will be very lucky. Because is all that is listed in this layout and more.
Here's some close ups of the embellishment though the layout. Enjoy!
I love the globe in this collection.
It fits in well with the photo of my brother as if he's in deep thought.
