Green Is Good Blog Hop

Something recycled, something re-purposed, whether it's a milk jug turned in to a scoop, or a tin can made in to a pencil holder. Maybe your kids planted some trees to help the environment, or maybe you did. There are tons of ways to get greener in everyday life.  Today we are showing off our creations to celebrate Earth Day 2013. If you just starting here make sure to head over tot he beginning at My Life in Art's n Crafts'.  I hear she's giving away some goodies!

Hello Everyone you should have arrived here from Sarah's blog It's What Keeps Me Sane

I'm super excited to share my Green Creations. I reused a candle jar. When my candle first started to go out I thought what would be a better reuse project  than this jar. Well I reused it by adding washi tape around it. These are two diff rent colors and they are the Recollection  Now when I was make this for myself; but my oldest seen it and said she wanted it. So I did the lid with papers by My Minds Eye: My Girl 6x6 paper pack. I add these cute little gems from my stash. Don't they  look like Angels. The monogram is from the silhouette store. I add a LD tea light so it will stay clean and will be reused through out years.

You could use this as treasure jar, jewelry jar, add some of your own craft buttons, brads in here. Add a bag or wrap candy.

Their is endless possibilities!!!

This would make the perfect family , friends, coworkers, and teachers gifts.

This is what it would look like with out the washie tape. I just love this.

What a marvelous idea. I always wonder what to do with the candle jars.

HI Gaby this is made to be use with a small LED Tea Light Candle. Which shouldn't give off much heat at all.

I have not personally had that happen to me.

But this is also good for many other things beyond a candle.

I hope this helps. HUGS AJ-
