Fantabulous Cricut Guest Designer

Hello Everyone,

I am super super excited today! I am a Guest Designer over at "Fantabulous Cricut"  #106 Buttons and Bows. I mean what an honor it is to be a featured Guest on their blog. Stop by their blog and support me and joining the challenge. I have to say this is a very simple challenge Buttons and Bows; but it seemed challenging for me. I knew what Cricut Cart I wanted to use it was more of try to find out where to put everything.

I started with a blue card base then adding a second layer in red. I then used some pattern paper from My Mind’s Eye: "Quite Contrary". I have to say I’m a big fan of My Minds Eyes. I love the different styles in papers they have and they always have great 6x6 paper pads. Any who then I used my Cuttlebug: "D'vine Swirl". I used buttons from Favorite Findings: "Country Love". You can pick up these buttons at Wal-Mart and I heard from Mary at Cardz Tv said she get hers from Joann’s. Wal-Mart keeps them in the sewing section. They are usually 1.97 a bag. This bag came with ten buttons all in different styles. They even have it in different colors and some based of season or themes like the ocean. The ones with solid colors have more than ten. lol that’s a lot of button tips; but if I can help save you and myself a dollar then there you go. My stamp is from Studio G. I used Twine and Ribbon.

Now this cut had a cute little dog on it but I only wanted the girl and deiced I would cut the dog off. That’s what I love about Cricut. Sometimes you can get more out of cart then you think. You just have to step outside of the box. Good thing is I can still use the dog for later.

I just love the country feel my card have. I like the paper and the backdrop was on my patio.
