Hello
Hello Crafty Friends!
Welcome to Mark's Finest Papers May Blog Hop. Today were showcasing two great stamp sets. Kiss Me (which is all about frogs) and Plywood (perfect for any male cards). For my first card I really wanted to show case this cute little frog. I stamped my frog on my cardstock and on a stick note. I hand cut the stick note so I could do some masking. I wanted my frog to look like he's sitting on a tree branch. The masking allowed me to extend the branch in section. I think the section give this branch the layers you would see on a branch when a leaf steam is starting to grow. I colored the image in with my Sharpies. I used glossy accent on the eyes and some fun enamel dots. I love the over all look and how CAS this card turned out!!
Up next were show casing another beautiful stamp set called "Plywood" that would be great for any male cards. I started out with water color paper and some Tim Holtz Distress inks in Wild Honey and Frayed Burlap. I add these two inks a clear block so I could use it as a pint palette. I keep paint the colors together till I got the look I wanted. I stamped my sentiment and everything on black card stock.
