Hi Crafty Friends
Welcome to day four of Mark's Finest Papers May Blog Hop.
Today were featuring two beautiful stamp sets. For my first card I started out by coloring my flower with my distress inks on water color paper. I later matted my image with black card stock. For the background I started out with wetting the background. After wetting I then used my distress markers on an clear block and mixed with water to get a free flower of ink. I took my brush and just dipped dabs of the ink on my already pre wet surface. This allowed for my inks to flow freely. If one spot was dry I would take my other brush and dip it into water and add it to that spot. I just keep inking till I got the look I wanted.
Hi Crafty Friends
Welcome to day four of Mark's Finest Papers May Blog Hop.

Up next I created a card featuring this oh so cute and adorable frog. I have to say MFP has the best frog stamps. I just love how cute they are. I colored this image in with my sharpies. I later went back in with my BIC and missed up as you can see where the lines meet under my frog next. Now I want to share a tip if you have a blending marker from Spectrum Noir you can use that to blend any BIC or Sharpie mess up. But because I love that it created this line to separate my frog neck from its body I left it alone. I add a green twine and an orange gem to add some sparkle.
Lastly I created a clean and simple card. I started out by stamping my frog onto kraft card stock and only tracing my frog in with my colored pencil and filling in the eyes. I stamped the sentiment twice because I thought it would be perfect for this little frog to say Hello in frog talk lol. Anyway I matte my kraft on some lime green card stock and add some gems to complete this card.
I hope you enjoyed my creations. Have fun hopping with this us!!!
