Growing In Unity Day One

Hello Crafty Friends,

 Welcome To Day One of  Unity Stamp Co. Growing In Unity. I'm super excited to share my Unity Stamp creations all week Monday through Friday.  Today I have a some what winter card. Just depending on how you look at it. We do have a lot of winter weather here in Va; so I found it fitting to share a winter card I'm giving to my hubby. I used Unity "Snowflake Kisses" stamp set. I really love that this set comes with many different styles of snowflakes. I used several for my card. I wanted to keep this card clean and simple.

 

 

To create this card I started out die cutting a stitched rectangular shape onto pattern paper by Bo Bunny. I stamped each snowflake using Ranger perfect medium and perfect pearls in blue raspberry. I love the metallic look of the perfect pearls and I thought I was perfect for these winter snowflakes. Next I stamp my sentiment onto cream paper and die cut it wit the same rectangular die to get the strips of stitching. I stamp the sentiment using VersaFine oxynx black to help it stand out. I completed my card by adding some gems just to help balance the card.
