Growing In Unity Day Two

Hello Crafty Friends,

Welcome back to day Two of Growing In Unity. I'm so excited to join Unity Stamp Co.  for another year fun. Today's card feature this handsome owl from "Hey There....Wise Guy" stamp set. Its perfect for any guy cards or creations. I must say I'm a huge fan of easy and clean cards. I created this card first by stamping on water color paper and using my Distress Marker in colors: gathered twigs, salty ocean, brushed corduroy, and wild honey to color the owl. To get a blue wash over the background I used Distressed Marker tumbled glass. Once the background is fully dry I die cut the stitched panel along side of the half circle using My Favorite Things die-namics Blueprint No. twenty-one. I love the layers and circle in this blueprint. Next I used a star embossing folder by the paper studio to emboss the stitched layer.

 

 

 

To complete my card I just had to add this fun banner with the sentiment. I used a banner die from MFT die-namics blue print twenty-one. I add some blue buttons with brown hemp. I think the buttons completed this card perfectly.
