HIMCR-65 Freestyle

 Hello My Crafting Friends!
Happy Saturday! Welcome to another Hiding In My Craft Room Challenge. This week is Freestyle. That means you can do anything you like. So I created a "GET WELL" recipe box. I wanted to do something different. When I first got this idea it was just a recipe box. One of my friends has been sick and I wanted to make something for her. This was inspired by her in a way.

I wanted an autumn look so I use papers by Colorbox: Textured Card stock Pack: Earthtone Warm. I cut my little acorns out at 2". I used Cuttlebug embossing folds: D'vine Swirls and Polka Dots on my acorns. The Get Well Title is about 1.5. I cut the box out at 8". I add a simple ribbon and my box is complete. For the inside I stamped a recipe card out with the card that was cut out with the box. Each time you cut a box it includes a recipe card. I thought that was a great idea by Cricut. I stamped a Recipe Card by Clear Dollar Stamps and I used the coordinate stamp Recipe Card Block to stamp "S: Soups & Salads on the card. This will be used to write my note instead of a recipe.

With this idea you can create so many things: Gifts for Teachers, Parents, Party Favors, Even add craft goodies for your crafting buddies.

Here you will see the top and some of the side of my recipe box.
This is the side view
Now this is the fun part. Add some goodies instead of a recipe card!  I was able to fit and small apple,  two soup in a cup, Ritz cracker the small on the go pack and on the bottom I add a little happy get well treat. I include a recipe card in the box for my note.
