Unity Friends with Flair
Hello Everyone!!
Happy Friday To You All!!!
Today is a Unity Friends with Flair week and challenge. Now as some of you may know this was up on my blog without a single word and just a picture. Yup I forgot to add words and Unity did not have a friends with Flair challenge. And some how I set it to be schedule. Silly thing of me to do. So I just took it down all together and waited for a chance to get it posted on Unity. But one lucky person was able to see it and she left me a comment. You will have to look at my comments to find out who this person was. Here's a hint we are on the same DT and she has a fun linky party going on over at her blog. I hear its an anything go challenge. Perfect time to link up. HERE
Now as some of you may know I'm a LOL member over at Unity.
Whats an LOL? Oh you say laugh out loud. tee hee had to do that.
LOL = Layers of Life {LOL}
And I thought of a way to use my kits each month. You know how we get our kits and stamps but they sit in our craft room for months before we use them. Well I thought that with at least one Unity Friends with Flair challenge I would use the new kit. That gives me at least four chance to use this kit within this month. So for every kit I will have gotten at least one us out of it before the year is out. So far I have been doing really good. You can join me it would be fun to see how many LOL members link up to Unity Friends with Flair within this month. Let me know if you will join me in your comments below and so I can pop on over to see what you have created.
Today I am using LOL: LOVE TRULY {through time}
Right now you can get all the pass LOL kits over at Unity for a release party of old LOL kits.
The only one you can not get is the new kit for August 2013 ever changing {thought time} unless you become a LOL member. And the price is right!!! My kit has not arrive yet. I must say this next LOL for August is awesome and I can't wait to play with it. I hope to share it next time.
For my card I went with a brown base and used this fun pattern papers from Simple Stories: Vintage Bliss. This has been by far my favoirte paper last month and this month. I love the colorful paper. I stamped the fun clocks in this LOL kit twice. I tore the one on top just so I can pop it up and hand cut the sentiment in this kit. I used a some gems and sheer ribbon. Did some inking to complete the vintage look of the stamp. I have to say I love the way it turned out.
