I was asked to answer these question below and I would love for you all to learn a bite more about who I am and what I love.
1. What am I working on?
Right now I'm working on a an altered creation for a blog hop that will be on YouTube. You can find my portion of this hop on June 24th HERE at my YouTube channel. This altered creation has been sitting in my craft room since last year. I wanted to start this creation because I have several I would like to make as gift for my mom, sister and sister-in-law for Christmas. I'm also working on my YouTube Series "SHARE A LAYOUT" video process. These series of video share some of the layouts I've worked on for this year. You can also find them her on my blog as a blog post. I've add a video of S.A.L. #6 below.
2. How does my work differ from others of its genre?
Wow this was the toughest question of all. I never set down to think of how my style is different from others. Because truth be told I've seen other crafters work, love it so much, that i've used it in away it would work for me. Can we truly say our work makes us stand out more then others.... YES WE CAN!! So I would say I'm different because I like to pick up on the news tread and add my twist too it. I like mixing up new and old techniques. For instant I created this watercolor cards using both a old technique and tool to give my card an washed out look. A washed out look mean that the colors around it fades but the bold colors still stand out. This is something I have not seen before.
As a scrapbooker I start out by loving creation of other artist that inspire me. Which later helped me to morph into my own as a butterfly would. I think my style can be of many: Clean and Simple but yet in another moment Over the top with lots of bling, die cutting, layers upon layers, distress to the point of no control. Other times I scrapbook use a single photos and sometimes lots of embellishment. So I would say my scrapbook styled is mixed. Mixed being always different and never the same.
Here's some examples of my creations:
Clean and Simple (C&S) Layouts
Clean and Simple Defined As: Not many photo, embellishment, and layers
Over The Top (OTT) Layouts:
OTT Defind As: Lots of layers, embellishments, die cuts, and card stock and/or pattern papers.
Single Photo
Single Photos have many styles within its self

Photo on the right is C&S with less embellishemnts, leayers, bling and such.

3. Why do I write/create what I do?
Here's a little history of how and why I create. This all started back in 2009. I had just had my second child. My oldest was in second grade (I believe) either its been a long time or I'm just losing my mind. lol I met one of the mom who lived in the same apartment's as I did. Her daughter and my daughter was in the same class. They became awesome friends and it helped us to form a great relationship. She is from Malaysia and at that time it was hard for me to understand what she was say; but she basically invited me toa scrapbooking group which open open my eyes to capturing my family in the moment of our life. I like it so much I wanted to continue. I later found blogging which lead to other craters. I loved the idea of making handmade crafts. I love seeing the joy my family and friends have when they receive one of my creation.
4. How does your writing/creating process work?
Well I don't have a process per say. Sometimes I look for a challenge to get me started other times I just create based on what I'm feeling and want. For example when creating a layout I may start by gather my photos and paper and or I look for a sketch. Sometimes I start by looking for inspiration. If I'm creating a mixed media page I just grab all of my supplies and go from their. Most of the time I'm just going off of what I'm feeling.
Now that you heard all that I had to say I would love for you to take a blog tour to visit These Lovely Ladies who accepted my invitation to dig into their life, their background of who their are.......
